SIR PAUL - AN IDOL FAN!

Lennon - McCartney Night on American Idol kicked off with a video message from Sir Paul himself, telling the nine "get out there, go for it, enjoy yourselves, good luck!" Wow does he really watch Idol?

We love-ISH Crystal "Mommasox" Bowersox who sang Come Together, she really nailed it once again and who doesn't love the didgeridoo! But the best part of the night was what she said in a video clip on the closeness of the group-- “I’m so glad that (Lee and Andrew) can be together and get married and have lots of little Danny Gokey babies!”

Aaron "Yoda" Kelly's Long and Winding Road "sounded like a long and winding song, " according to Ellen De Generes. Katie Stevens' Let It Be we-ISH think it was her best performance thus far, blending what the judges have been asking for; more youthful and a little country thing going on. Randy, Ellen, Kara and Simon agreed. Andrew Garcia made it through three of the judges without being beaten up singing Can’t Buy Me Love, although Simon wasn't onboard calling it "old fashioned", isn't that expression kind of old school itself? Big Mike Lynche won the crowd over with his dramatic rendition of Eleanor Rigby. Tim Urban even got a nod from Simon for his All My Lovin', plus he rocked the Beatle haircut. Casey James, got major kudos from all four judges with Lennon's Jealous Man - Simon said "Goldilocks it was it the best of the night!" Siobhan Magnus's Across The Universe was a new tender side of this glass blowing phenom - - not a scream in sight. Lee Dewyze felt honored to sing Hey Jude and the audience returned the favor -- the bagpiper threw Ellen and Simon off a bit, but ISH-loved it!

Idol runner-up Adam Lambert twittered he'll be mentoring the contestants next Tuesday night, then performing his single "Whataya Want from Me" on the following night's results show. Is it just ISH, but the live moments with the contestants coming off stage, are they lame?
