Say it ain't so America, how could you let new dad Big Mike Lynche fall into the bottom three? And worse, be the bottom of the three! Singing for his life Michael was pitch perfect, as his wife cried in the audience, some good tv; fans on the edge of their seats, the Judges looking like they were ringside at a championship fight in Vegas...da da da - saved! The results show had a very mod opening from the Lennon/McCartney songbook, it was groovey! Just wish it wasn't lip-synched. Connecting all the drama there were three acts, first up was Jason who? until I heard the song, which is getting a lot of airplay on top 40, I didn't know who Jason Derulo was. But, after his performance we-ISH can understand why Kara DioGuardi signed him. David Archuleta, from Season 7 came back to sing John Lennon's "Imagine" while accompanying himself on the piano. And lastly Rihanna sang her new song Rock Star 101, perhaps channeling Adam Lambert. We know that she is projecting a new R-rated look, but not sure the rock star thing rocks.
Two contestants will go home next Wednesday. And there will be no more Judges' Save for either of them, if America gets it wrong again.
