Comedian and actor George Lopez told the crowd in Hollywood "I couldn't be happier or prouder to be immortalized as a wax figure at Madame Tussauds museum." Lopez was so happy that he even kissed the wax figure of himself after it was unveiled on Thursday.
Lopez, 48, is renowned for his satirical comedy about Mexican-American life. He hosts his own talk show and starred in his own sitcom, George Lopez, which aired between 2002 and 2007. The newly waxed star has his friend Sandra Bullock to thank for much of his success. The actress/ producer and Lopez go back many years, with Sandra producing his first show and basically helping the comedian get his big break. They have stayed close over the years. So when he was asked how she was doing he told radaronline.com that " I went by her house on Saturday after the Kids' Choice awards and sat with her, she's doing great."
Looks like George has Sandra Bullock's back!
