After years of speculation, the "Vida Loca" superstar confirms that he is gay.
"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."
The Puerto Rican pop singer goes on to explain that while writing his memiors and thinking about his twin boys, who were born via surragote in 2008, led to his announcement.
"To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids were born with. Enough is enough."
Martin has stepped away from the performing recently to focus on his children.
