Addiction is a universal problem, it's just Hollywood that gets the bad rap! Skeptics may say that celebrities run to treatment looking for an easy way out of their P.R. nightmare, but the truth is, it's what the average joe does when he/she hits a bottom with their addiction. Sure, the facility may not be as chic, but the intention and the work is the same. If Hollywood is responsible for setting trends, then some good comes out of these very public affairs.
According to the latest reports James checked in to Sierra Tucson in Arizona on Friday. The clinic specializes in drug, alcohol, and sex addiction.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ.com that James was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol Friday for driving without a front license plate and he told the officer he was heading to rehab.
In Jesse's public apology on March 19th he said "it's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way." The first step in recovery is taking responsibility for your actions, so there could be a Hollywood ending after all.
Sandra Bullock is no stranger to addiction, ten years ago she played an alcoholic in the film 28 Days spending some time at Sierra Tucson, doing research for the role.
