Irish Singer Sinead O'Connor Takes On The Vatican Again!

It's been almost twenty years since Sinead O'Connor made headlines when she tore up a photo of Pope John Paul II on Saturday Night Live. O'Connor was singing an a cappella version of Bob Marley's song War, as a protest over the sexual abuse in the church, she changed the lyric racism to child abuse and then said "fight the real enemy" while tearing up the photo of the Pope.
Now, the outspoken singer is telling the present head of the Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI that his pastoral letter of apology relating to decades of sexual abuse of minors by priests in Ireland falls short. O'Connor wrote a piece in Sunday's Washington Post saying "To many people in my homeland, the pope's letter is an insult not only to our intelligence, but to our faith and to our country."
