IT'S SO HOLLYWOOD: IN WASHINGTON - THE WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER!

Washington D.C. is a company town filled with political celebs, but at least one weekend a year, Hollywood types descend en masse on the buttoned up town. That's The White House Correspondents' Dinner, where politicians and reporters get to roast each other with inside jokes, on Saturday evening it was a full-on red carpet affair.

The night is "more Hollywood than Washington" said Colin Powell at the Washington Hilton, after almost getting trampled by a Jonas brother.

A few minutes later, Powell shook hands and chatted with Oval Office adviser David Axelrod, when Chevy Chase mosied into view. Powell interrupted stopped his conversation to playfully punch Chase. The retired general made his way through the throngs to exchange pleasantries with Donald Rumsfeld. Not far away, Greta Van Susteren spoke with (get this) Kim Kardashian!!! Really!!!

SO OVER IT: LINDSAY LOHAN'S DEFINITION OF ART!

Lindsay Lohan gave her followers on Twitter an art lesson: “it’s not softcore porn hunny, it’s called ART.” That's the tweet that linked to a photo of herself placing a black handgun in her mouth. That scandalous photo has generated a great deal of commentary from media outlets.

Tyler Shields, an L.A.– based photographer and video music director, is the one who shot the photo of Lohan as part of a book project he has entitled The Dirty Side of Glamour. He discussed the shoot on his blog, saying that Lohan “is a huge art lover and simply wanted to create some and that is exactly what we did!”

IDOL RESULTS: SHAKIRA, RASCAL FLATTS, LADY ANTEBELLUM & SIOBHAN MAGNUS' COOL ADIEU!

It was a star studded results show on Idol last night. An unlikely mix Shakira and Rascal Flatts teaming up for the Columbian singer's debut of her single Gypsy -- but it worked.

Sons of Sylvia, the back up band for Carrie Underwood's latest tour performed their own new single Love Left to Lose - - the season four winner showed up to introduce them. Lady Antebellum sang Need You Now, and an interesting ISH sidebar is that lead singer Hillary Scott was rejected from Idol two times, not even making it past the first round.

But the big news of the night was that the glassblower from Cape Cod, Massachusetts Siobhan Magnus was eliminated. Harry Connick Jr. will next mentor the finalists for a songs-of-Sinatra themed week.

ISH Breaking News: Sandra Bullock's Secret Baby And Divorce Confirmation!

Sandra Bullock reveals she is a proud new mother as she files for divorce from Jesse James!

The couple began the adoption process four years ago and brought baby boy, Louis home in January, but kept him under wraps through all the media hoopla surrounding the Academy Awards.

"He's just perfect. I can't describe it any other way," Sandra revealed to People Magazine about her now 3 1/2 month boy named Louis Bardo Bullock born in New Orleans. "It's like he's always been part of our lives."

Sandra will raise Louis as a single mother, confirming to People that she filed for divorce from Jesse James.

"I am sad and I am scared," said Sandra of the separation.

ISH wishes Sandra all the best and a congratulations on her new baby boy, Louis!

ISH is finally feeling love for Simon, what's up with that? Now that Cowell has given his notice, he actually has turned into a sentimental kind of guy. When Casey James finished his Twain song Don't Cowell seemed moved and sent Casey over to kiss Shania for making it his best performance ever - maybe the newly engaged judge is finally embracing love.

The night started on a high note when Ryan Seacrest announced that in this economy Idol Gives Back was able to raise $45 million last week.

Hugh Hefner Saves Hollywood Sign!

Hollywood Icon Hugh Hefner has saved another Hollywood Icon ~ The Hollywood Sign! 

The Playboy Magazine Kingpin on Monday donated the last $900,000 of the $12.5 million needed to buy 138 acres on Cahuenga Peak where the Hollywood Sign is located. Real Estate investors were planning on building luxury homes around the iconic sign until a fundraising drive by The Trust for Public Land intervened. 

In a press conference, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger called the last minute hand out the "Hollywood ending we hoped for." SO ISH!

This isn't the first time Hef has come to the signs rescue. In 1978, he has part of a big campaign to fix up the then deteriorating sign to make sure the land would remain undeveloped and said he was happy to do it again!

"My childhood dreams and fantasies came from the movies, and the images created in Hollywood has a major influence on Playboy," Hefner declared in a statement. "As I have said before, the Hollywood sign is Hollywood's Eiffel Tower and I'm pleased to help preserve such an important culture landmark."  

POISON FRONTMAN BRET MICHAELS STABLE FOLLOWING BRAIN HEMORRHAGE!

Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital late Thursday evening, where doctors discovered he had suffered a massive brain hemorrhage. This on the heels of a recent attack of appendicitis for the diabetic. There is encouraging news --Michaels is reportedly in stable condition at this time.

TMZ is saying that Michaels is "awake, in good spirits and talking" as of Friday evening (April 23). This information comes from Ambre Lake, the season-two winner of Michaels' Rock of Love reality show. TMZ reports that Lake has spoken with people close to Bret who say he's "stabilized and conscious."

The controversial Lane Bryant ad featuring a plus size model in lingerie continues to make 
headlines after ABC and Fox networks rejected airing it during their "Family Hour."

LB wanted the commercial to air during American Idol, but Fox said it was too 
racy. After the bad press as to why the commercial didn't meet broadcasting standards as 
opposed to other ultra sexy ads like Victoria's Secret, apparently Fox has now decided to air the commercial during next Wednesday's Idol results show.

But the claims by Fox and LB are far from over. Lane Bryantsays Fox is discriminating 
against large women with 
bigger breasts, while Fox 
stands firm it's a non-issue 
and Lane Bryant is 
just looking for publicity.

White's new 'Naked' dog is part of a publicity campaign for the famed hot dog stand's new location.

Idol Gives Back, has raised more than $140 million since its 2007 launch, which will benefit Children's Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, the United Nations Foundation and Save the Children's U.S. programs this year. Viewers were asked to donate throughout the broadcast.

Alicia Keyes was sent in to mentor/inspire the Idols but it was Crystal Bowersox who brought most of the audience to tears last night.

Mamasox's soulful rendition of "People Get Ready" even choked her up at the end of the performance, while singing, "you don't need a ticket, you just need to thank the lord."

Kara said she thought "they" called her Mamasox because she schooled all the other contestants. Simon told her she was in a class of her own. Second only to Crystal was Lee DeWyze, who took Simon & Garfunkel's "The Boxer" to a whole new sexy level.

PopEater is saying Southwick has had her own affairs - claiming one with an employee of King's and another with the baseball coach of her and Larry's son!

That's what happened last night on Dancing With The Stars. Violinists and brothers Damien and Tourie Escobar - Nuttin' But Stringz, play a blend of hip hop, classical, jazz and R&B. They knocked ISH's socks off when they got their initial break auditioning for the third season of America's Got Talent in New York.

THE "HOUSEWIVES" STAND BY THEIR MAN IN NICOLLETTE DISPUTE!

The "Housewives" are defending show creator Marc Cherry in a joint statement Tuesday, responding to Nicollette Sheridan's lawsuit accusing him of allegedly hitting her on the set in 2008.

John Tesh confirms one of the reports in the unauthorized biography of Oprah Winfrey that the former Entertainment Tonight anchor, now new age musician says he and Winfrey dated.

The 57-year-old Tesh says he and the 56-year-old Winfrey dated while working in local news in Nashville.

The book Oprah: A Biography claims Tesh and Winfrey not only dated, but actually lived together in the 70's. According to reports Tesh abruptly ended the relationship one night when he noticed their contrasting skin colors and couldn't handle being in an interracial relationship.

Tesh did tell Entertainment Tonight he and Winfrey remain good friends, but didn't comment on why the relationship ended.

DWTS: KATE GOSSELIN WASN'T HORRIBLE!

Double Score Showdown Week - sounds like the O.K. Corral, rather than a dance competition!

But, apparently for Kate Gosselin showdowns are right up her alley -- because tonight was her best night.

Erin Andrews and Maks' tango took some hits from the judges. Performance and technique scored a bit low, but the chemistry between the two scores high! 

Evan Lysacek and Anna garnered a "you pleased me" from the usually grumpy Len, which in Goodman language is over the top!

BREAKING ON ISH: CONAN HEADS TO TBS!

This just in ~ Conan O'Brien has signed a deal with TBS.

The comedian will have a late night show on the cable newtork launching in November. O'Brien's show will be the lead in to George Lopez's "Lopez Tonight" which will move midnight.

"In three months I've gone from network TV to Twitter to performing live in theater, and now I'm headed to basic cable," O'Brien said in a statement. "My plan is working out perfectly."

SELITA FLIES AWAY FROM THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE!

Who's in and who's out?

It doesn't seem so much to be about who's fired, but who's quitting these days -- a few weeks ago Darryl Strawberry picked up his balls and went home, he was just tuckered out. Now it's Michael Johnson who quits for personal reasons; ISH thinks he just didn't want to play anymore.

Victoria Secret model Selita Ebanks was fired, because she didn't seem to care too much! And Donald stuck up for his pal Cyndi Lauper, who was hanging out with Obama!
With all this quitting and taking personal days going on, one wonders if the contestants really even want to be there!

ISH now sees why Mr. Trump wants to go back to The Apprentice sans the Celebrity, and with the unemployment rate so high why not, give the rest of us a job!

GOLF IS SO HOLLYWOOD!

CBS’s coverage of The Masters was all about family values when Jim Nantz said of Phil Mickelson, “That’s a win for the family.”

If Woods had cheated on his wife; Mickelson won for his wife, Amy, who has breast cancer - it was her first time in the gallery since her diagnosis. Unfortunately, just hours after Phil's win the media buzz was that Amy is having an affair with Michael Jordan, say ISH ain't so, are there no happily ever afters in Hollywood or on the Links anymore?

JIM CARREY EXPLAINS TIGER INFIDELITY TWEET!

After Jim Carrey got carried away on Twitter regarding Tiger Woods' affairs, the actor is now explaining what he meant by this statement: 

 "No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity. Elin had to be a willing participant on the ride for whatever reason."

Carrey's latest tweet about the matter says: 

"I want 2 make it CLEAR that I do not condone infidelity at all, but 2 some degree the responsibility 4 it is shared by both people."

Hmmm, maybe with Jenny McCarthy out of the picture, the star has too much time on his hands?

"Drek not Shrek" cry independent filmmakers and New York film purists!

The freak-out is over the decision by The Tribeca Film Festival to invite Shrek Forever After, the fourth and final Shrek sequel to open the festival.

Although there's lots of love for Cameron Diaz and Mike Meyers - the thought of having a big studio 3D picture take the prime spot is inconceivable to film festival enthusiasts.
