Laney FicheraCo-Founder and Co-Host of ItsSoHollywood.com has been a familiar face and voice coast to coast-- she's worked as a TV Host, Entertainment Correspondent, Radio News Anchor and Traffic Reporter.Most recently she’s been with TV Guide Network covering red carpet events including the Emmys, Grammys, Golden Globes, VMAs, SAG Awards, CMA Awards and the BET Awards just to mention a few. Prior to joining TVGN over five years ago Laney was a reporter/producer for Warner Brother’s EXTRA going behind the scenes with some of Hollywood's heaviest hitters – whether in the swamps of Mississippi with Robert Duvall, or the mean streets of New York with Bruce Willis or running road races with Oprah – Laney got the story. Laney has also covered Hollywood for E! News DailyAccess Hollywood and Inside Edition. Along with her business partner, Lisa Spalla, she has created programming like BFF’s and Pet News Daily! Now they’re launching their entertainment website It’s So Hollywood.com. Laney cut her teeth in Boston as a Helicopter Traffic Reporter for WVBF, riding the orange pumpkin over the rooftops of the city. Later on she reported for WEEI-CBS, WODS-CBS, WBZ-TV, and WHDH-TV. She went on to become co-host on the top-rated morning show on the CBS affiliate WODS and later reported news for WZOU. Laney's charity work includes: Recording for the Blind, Children's Hospital, American Cancer Society, and "our house" Bereavement Center; where she co-leads a children's support group and speaks to medical students from USC and UCLA. As a member of the still mostly male bastion of The Friar's Club, Laney took great pride in being pinned, not punctured by Larry King.










Lisa Spalla, Co-Founder and Co-Host of ItsSoHollywood.com has more than 15 years of entertainment news experience. She is a veteran TV journalist having worked as a host, reporter, producer and director for several network and shows like Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra, E! Entertainment Television and Animal Planet. She is currently a Reporter/Producer for California Life HD and Hollywood Newsreel
As a member of the Directors Guild of America, The American Federation of Television and Radio and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Lisa is very involved with the entertainment community. Spalla previously spent over 10 years developing programming for TV Guide Network and most recently worked as Executive Producer for two of the Guide’s signature shows, TV Watercooler and InFANity. Landing her first TV gig at Entertainment Tonight, Lisa spent five years learning the Hollywood ropes, becoming an associate director for the domestic show, then producing and directing the ET International Show. She continues to be a constant figure on red carpets conducting celebrity interviews. Lisa has also has been seen as a Host/Reporter on National Enquirer TV, and In Focus for PBS. Lisa recently married into a ground breaking Hollywood family with roots deep in the entertainment business. Her father-in-law, Rick Spalla founded the company Hollywood Newsreel Syndicate. He pioneered entertainment news producing the first syndicated show called Hollywood Backstage, exclusively covering the Oscars and the Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremonies. Lisa has joined her husband in re-opening the vault of priceless vintage footage to create some memorable programming. Now they just have to teach their new toddler how to run a camera. When not working, Lisa treasures spending time with her one-year old son, Luke and husband, Rick.
