ISH MOVIE REVIEW: CHLOE

ISH may be the only outlet, next to the Hollywood Reporter to give Chloe a good review- -why? Because not only, was it beautifully shot, it also had some lovely performances and poignant dialogue, understood by a woman of a certain age. Perhaps, that's why some of the male critics overlooked the impact this kind of psychological drama may have on a female audience. Let's face it, many of us are tired of action adventure, and more romantic comedies.
The story is loosely based on the French film Nathalie, Chloe tells the story of a middle-aged wife and working mother, (Julianne Moore) who has lost the intimacy she once had with her college professor husband (Liam Neeson). The script by Erin Cressida Wilson explicates how this wife's fears drive her to hire an escort (Amanda Seyfried) to test her husband's fidelity. Many critics question the plausibility of the story, but hey, audiences bought blue avatars flying around in a parallel universe from James Cameron.

It gets a big-ISH from us!
