PLUS SIZE LINGERIE AD "TOO HOT" OR "TOO FAT" FOR TV?

The controversial Lane Bryant ad featuring a plus size model in lingerie continues to make
headlines after ABC and Fox networks rejected airing it during their "Family Hour."

LB wanted the commercial to air during American Idol, but Fox said it was too
racy. After the bad press as to why the commercial didn't meet broadcasting standards as
opposed to other ultra sexy ads like Victoria's Secret, apparently Fox has now decided to air the commercial during next Wednesday's Idol results show.

But the claims by Fox and LB are far from over. Lane Bryantsays Fox is discriminating
against large women with
bigger breasts, while Fox
stands firm it's a non-issue
and Lane Bryant is
just looking for publicity.

Where is Nicey Nash when
we need her?

ISH Question: Do you think
this Lane Bryant ad is too hot
for TV or discrimination?

IT'S SO HOLLYWOOD WHEN A DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE ALLEGES ABUSE!

Former Desperate Housewife actress Nicollette Sheridan is suing series creator Marc Cherry on charges of assault and battery, gender violence, wrongful termination, and “intentional infliction of emotional distress”, according to TMZ.

Sheridan alleges that Cherry created a “hostile work environment,” regularly “demeaning” writers and staff, and behaving in a “dismissive, demeaning, and unprofessional manner” towards her both on and off set - the claim was obtained by EW. The actress claims that in September of 2008, when she questioned something in the script, Cherry took her aside and “forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head.” Sheridan says that she immediately complained to ABC, but no action was taken.
